@DPJHodges She seems psychologically broken by her premiership; unable to accept that she was responsible for what happened.

@BrettYokom @JasonSynaptic That’s a market driven matter for universities and research institutes. Many believe they can do it better than others, hence set up in ‘competition’. Unfortunately larger organisations often require larger overheads as they become more complex. I prefer small biotech.

@BrettYokom @JasonSynaptic I get you might not like it. I dislike bloated, over complicated institutions. There is so much to be said for entrepreneurial startup culture. But it really isn’t so simple - overheads are generally *at least* 30%, if not more.

@BrettYokom @JasonSynaptic Is the system perfect? VERY far from it, but it’s disingenuous to take such a simplistic view. And yes, research institutes that don’t attract funding DO close. It happens.

@JasonSynaptic The sheer number of folk who have *no idea* what things ‘cost’ is astounding … it’s not just a postdoc salary and reagents.

@SecRubio You could go and, perhaps, do your job, champ? Or you could just call things you don’t like ‘woke’.

@zenbrainest Very interesting, but I don’t see what makes 2A inverse agonism the main driver here (or indeed, if it would be inverse agonism vs antagonism). I’m guessing it fits with the notion of psychedelics having some efficacy vs OCD.

@dresdendoll I’m just impressed you got to the gym. I’m sat here in ADHD procrastination mode albeit being severely harassed by domestic terrorists (my children)
