@DefendTheR @Shane_13thman I won’t argue with Farhan. I also don’t know where Ottawa or any team is re: new/potential deals and last year’s cap. Possible some are shooting for the former and hoping/assuming it went up.

@DefendTheR @Shane_13thman And this isn’t considering the cap gurus I assume every team has who track relevant data over a year to come to an educated prediction of a range of where the cap could go in a given year. End of the day, lots of factors beyond a league announcement.

@DefendTheR This also just the tampering window. I was never in the room/on a call for a player negotiation but given that no contracts are signed yet, say the teams didn’t know the cap number, that is probably part of the conversation before FA opens and a deal becomes official.
