Oppenheimer is sure to revive some debates about the end of WWII. Worth noting: Purple Heart medals awarded in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf, War on Terror—all 370,000 since 1945—were manufactured for the anticipated invasion of Japan. We have 120,000 remaining.

Me a few months ago: Maybe it’s time to buy Chicago multifamily. We’ll rue the day we passed on 9 caps in one of the world’s great cities. Me today: Time to invest in Chicago moving companies.

Progressive allies of Mayor Brandon Johnson have released a financial blueprint titled - and I'm not joking - "First We Get the Money" calling for $12 billion in new taxes, including: "Head tax" of $33 per worker for companies with 50+ employees Quadrupling the tax on jet fuel.

Saw a mother with four little kiddos at lunch today, promising them that she was going to find an apartment for them to live. I wish planning departments had mandatory victim impact panels with people like her.

Here are the criteria Arizona doctors will have to use to triage patients now that our hospitals are in crisis mode. If it makes no sense to you, maybe second guessing doctors wasn’t the right play.

Remember when America wasn’t supposed to respond to Covid because there were only 30/3000/30000 cases? Vietnam, with 97 million people, responded in January, never had a national lockdown, 300 cases, nobody died.

"Bill Kristol's fundamental contribution to American public life is that he pushed us into the Iraq War when we were totally unprepared, we didn't have a strategy, and we didn't have an exit plan ... In a country where that doesn't end your career, the elite is broken" - @JDVance1

Martin Luther King paid the hospital bill when Julia Roberts was born. Her parents ran a rare, racially integrated children's acting school, where the King children were welcomed. The Roberts's couldn't afford the hospital bill for her delivery, and the Kings stepped in.

Arizona legislators - your job requires encountering viewpoints that aren’t necessarily yours. Walking out on the governor or turning your back is the ultimate snowflake move. It’s okay to just sit and not clap.

I was with @Cernovich at a Santa Monica cigar bar 20 years ago. Nice place. This one long haired dude in a jersey and bandana was totally out of place. Starts talking about all these women he’s hooked up with. Me thinking: No way. He says something to the owner about something he

Unlike some other states, California does not require districts to provide free school buses — even if a student lives far from school. Black and Native American students are both most likely to be absent and and least likely to have access to a car.

Imagine two guys beating you up at a gas station. 1am. Against these long odds a limo pulls up. Elvis Presley, King of Rock N’ Roll, jumps out and assumes a karate stance. The assailants give up. This really happened. And there is a monument. He had 52 days to live.

I think we should be talking about the nominees who aren’t qualified. You know who tops my list Xavier Becerra for HHS, an individual with absolutely no health care experience. None.

This 60 Minutes special on the widows and orphans of COVID is crushing. 15 year old summoning the strength to smile on a FaceTime call with his mom because he realized it would be her last memory on earth. A 17 year old promising his sick dad he’d take over the family business.
