okay but 2 sentences in I am very skeptical about: "although current LLMs, including GPT-3, were trained on predominantly human-generated text..." is that even close to being the case? incentives for mass produced spam content have been around a while...

not hard to think of uni buildings in germany that are super leaky or need to close at sundown due to lack of lighting maintenance -- while simultaneously being full of academics w/ tons of active research!

@languistical it's still good -- I think anything abutting the LLM craze would gloss over more fundamental questions about tokenizing/lemmatizing text etc etc. The nltk book works with 'big enough' data that can still run really fast on any old computer
