In the middle of RWBY vol 2, we had a livestream where animators could come on and talk about the show. The comments were overwhelmingly upset about the animators "not looking as tired as Monty." Thats when I realized that "Overwork" was a core part of our brand
Mikey and I work 5 days a week for 30-40 hours and that’s it. We don’t work after 6pm or weekends. Our videos come out when they’re done.
Sometimes it’s hard to maintain a business this way but it’s the best we can do. I’d encourage other creators to set similar boundaries.
