Today feels a tiny bit like December 31, 1999. Anyone remember this guy? If you were prepared and had done all that you could, you embraced midnight and slept well. @elonmusk @Scobleizer @BillAckman If you were not prepared, you were fearful of midnight coming and what might befall our world, our systems and even our food and energy supplies. It is unlikely that you slept at all. Tonight at midnight, we get a new administration. No matter who you voted for, we enter a new era for the next 4 years. I talked to one of my senior advisors that was actually quite bullish on what it could mean for entrepreneurs and the availability of capital. I pray that he is right. One thing is guaranteed. God is in control, whether you love the new administration or hate it. The sun will rise. The stock market will open. Yes, things may be a bit crazy. Then we will all settle back in. In the best of all possible worlds, we will try to work together and love each other and forget about the distinction in parties. On Dec 31, 1999 I absolutely guarantee that I did not give one moment's thought to who anyone in my network voted for. It never occurred to me. And that night, after we celebrated with our little plush Y2K bug and watched the fireworks hoping they wouldn't wake up our 18 month old..... I slept well. I long for those days. I'm praying for peace. Anyone with me?
