Not to go all "ya boi," but art means more to me than any socio-political belief/ideology. I care about speaking to the human condition, not a fellow political ally. I don't care if "politics" are in your story, as long as they are always backseat to plot and character.
These people really need to stop calling themselves "culture warriors." Beyond their apathy toward the arts lies their complete refusal to engage with pop culture: They shit on Taylor Swift—one of the world's biggest pop stars—but have no Taylor Swift of their own. They shit on rap music—a globally popular art form that's been culturally dominant for 40 years. They shit on comic books—which have captured imaginations through lush illustrations and compelling stories for 100 years. They shit on videogames—which have evolved into brilliant vessels for art design, music, and storytelling. Then they wonder why people think they're boring and lame as fuck.

Great film, and I love this design.
Concept artist Keith Thompson designed the monster in the 2017 film THE RITUAL. The beast, known as Moder, is a giant deer-like jötunn from Norse mythology.

One of my favorites. Tons of supernatural creativity. "What's the sound of one hand yapping?" Is a pun that sticks in my brain to this day.
"Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust" movie by Yoshiaki Kawajiri has been remastered (from 35mm). Limited Blu-ray box is coming in Japan (english + japanese dubs). International pre-orders >> Can't wait to see the quality. I've always drooled over the cels.
