In theory, eliminating male-female connectors on Wooden track is a smart move that makes pieces less restrictive, but in execution left room to be desired when going up against an established industry standard, combined with changing the curve radiuses to be much more limiting.

I think people dislike this design because it was oversaturated in merchandise for over a decade, combined with seeing the digital coloring "clip art" style as a downgrade from Owen Bell's early 90s illustrations.
Why do they hate this design bro 😭😭😭 shi was my childhood.
