🧵 Well, friends, after a long, epic run at Bloomberg, I'm launching my own thing - Core Memory - a sci-tech media company making movies, shows, pods and stories. We're going deep on brains, energy, AI, transporation, manufacturing, you name it. And we could use your help.

We’re excited to announce the approval and launch of a new feasibility trial to extend BCI control using the N1 Implant to an investigational assistive robotic arm. This is an important first step towards restoring not only digital freedom, but also physical freedom. More info to come, but the CONVOY Study will enable cross-enrolling participants from the ongoing PRIME Study. To read more about the PRIME Study:

Important work that may one day allow decoding speech and cursor control from a single implant.

New brain-computer interface preprint led by PhD student Tyler Singer-Clark! This video of a man with paralysis accurately controlling a cursor looks like something you've seen since ~2017. BUT! This is driven by multielectrode arrays in ventral (speech) motor cortex‼️ 1/
