You know antagonist means basically against/opposite, right? An antagonist is a character that opposes the protagonist, which is the one who the story focuses on. Rhaenyra is the protagonist, Daemon/the Blacks are supporting her. The antagonists are the greens.
whether you like it or not, Rhaenyra AND Alicent are clearly the protagonists of hotd. Daemon AND Otto are the antagonists. shouldn't be so hard to understand this.

The only one with a real problem was Otto. Viserys was not fond of violence, but he did not pull his support of it, he just said he HOPED it would be less violent (green highlight, for you 🥰). Daemon gathered people from the smallfolk, who knew the city and its crimes.
