This is a topic not touched on enough. It makes me nervous when I see people saying things like "I want a puppy! Budget is $100 or $200!" Just the cost of all the things they need, shots, spay/neuter, and preventative meds, and that's just the expected costs. Pets aren't cheap!

Finally get to see these sweet little faces without anything on them! Babies both got their NG tubes out yesterday! If we can continue doing great with feeding and gaining weight, and little miss can go without having any spells the next 3 days, hopefully we can bust out of here!

I still don't understand the double standard, if you kept a dog outdoors and let them live outside and wander the neighborhood, it's neglectful and irresponsible. Same goes for cats, IMO. Build a catio or take your cat out on leash if they want to go outside. Keep the babies safe

If you need donations and to sell possessions for adoption fees, you definitely aren't in a position to adopt another animal. It's a nice thought, to want to help, but you can also do good by sharing the info and helping the animal find a good home with someone who can afford it!

Both cubs are apparently feeling feisty today and have been making the NST a challenge, whether kicking at the monitors or wiggling away from them 😅 channeling their feline side and not wanting to be bothered or perceived 🤣 It's a 29 minute test, but so far we're going on 1 hr.

This weekend will be a year since my Mom passed away. My daughter mentions Grandma often, tonight she talked about her again and said she misses her 💔 also found out that one of our longtime family friends passed away, and it's just been a lot on my heart in one evening.

Sophie's first day of (full week) Pre-K! She did so great and was so excited! She got on the bus with no hesitation and was so happy when she got home, she immediately asked "Can I go again tomorrow?!" I'm so happy her first day went so well! I admit I did cry after the bus left!

Our sweet little cub came into the world August 29th at 11:11pm, 8lbs and 2oz <3 (via C-section) little lady either could not fit or was not in a good position to descend, even after a solid 12 hours of solid contractions. We are all doing really well, and we so in love <3
