The team has already proven that they understand web3, but the first paragraph is what made me bullish on @Azuki when I first talked to @DemAzuki years ago The biggest challenge that web2 and web3 will face is the pace and timelines of activations and expectations from fans. That alignment takes time and effort to get right, and we're starting to see the fruits of the labor. But the fact that the team recognizes that fact (and they recognized it very early), made me believe that they could work to solve that problem
The anime series is one component of Azuki's growth strategy, not its centerpiece. While building the IP is crucial, we're taking a more nuanced approach than simply pursuing traditional media expansion. web3 pace requires different dynamics than traditional anime production timelines. Regarding the anime rollout: Ep 1 is out on YouTube. Ep 2 will introduce an innovative live watch party experience, premiering exclusively on The anthology series serves two strategic purposes: 1. Establishing relationships with top creative talent in the anime industry 2. Pioneering new ways to experience anime, as demonstrated by our NFT licensing integration and dynamic billboards in Ep 1, and the upcoming live watch party format for Ep 2 Rather than immediately pushing for Azuki to become a household name, we're focused on thoughtful experimentation and industry innovation. The broader recognition will develop organically as we continue to push boundaries in both web3 and anime spaces.

Or… scan the card (PBT) and play digitally. You can more easily push balance changes, create cool effects and develop crazier rules (also easier onboarding) Hearthstone had a feature where you could create Taverns which helped for in person playing
Ok so first reaction: Holy shit a full art Azuki TCG Shao card??? 🤯 Thinking through what this means: • Will the Azuki cards just be collectibles? Since there doesn't seem to be any power or effect • Or Is this just a full art card? If so, does that mean Shao is a leader-esque card in the TCG? • Or are they just developing collectibles first and we'll get the TCG later on as it takes time to develop? In any case @Zagabond please tell me when I can buy these packs. I have a lot of ANIME to spend.
