IT'S HAPPENING!
I am now officially accepting pre-orders for custom one-of-a-kind masks.
Initial price point is $125 per mask, which includes shipping.
Made of your choice of soft (slightly flexible) or hard paper maché. Hand painted.
DM for more info/interest.
Shout out to everyone who’s been liking/RTing my mask posts or commissioned a mask from me. Mask making is currently my primary source of income & is putting food on my table & a roof over my head. Eternally grateful to have this in an otherwise batshit crazy chaotic time. 💀🖤
Way back in 2006, I gathered a team of people together for a massive photoshoot in an abandoned hospital. Dubbed “The Pain Box”, these images would serve as my visual calling card and, ultimately, earn me entrance into the film industry (as a Production Designer).

Sold my first film off a 30sec pitch with a bored exec, never directed a feature prior, wrote a screenplay without understanding structure/format. Not only did it get distributed, but made a profit.
What I’m saying is: there are no fucking rules. Play the game however you want.
Screenwriters: I would love less discourse on format and so much more on process. Tell us more about why you choose the stories that you do. What fascinates you about the characters you create. What themes are you desperate to explore. That’s the good shit right there.
I really, really want to read more horror scripts from women and BIPOC writers.
I've had a few submissions so far but would like to see waaaay more.
Who's out there?
I've had several inquiries from people interested in buying the masks I've been making. Honestly, I made them for me--to be used in an upcoming project, Now I'm considering either selling these after or making some specifically to be sold.
I wonder what these would sell for.
Where are all the screenwriters doing unique, weird horror? The strange, the cosmic, the creepypastas, etc?
I really, really want to direct a short film that falls into that realm of weird but don’t know if I have the skills to pull off the writing.
I absolutely love this moment we shot yesterday for HUSK. it was Sophie's idea for the draped fabric and walk-up, then I decided to reverse the shot and ended up with this deliciously surreal and dreamy thing.
#NobodyArtistClub

After a disastrous attempt this morning, Sophie and I headed back to the waterfall this evening to try a shooting a HUSK scene for the second time.
Nailed it.
Here are four stills:
Almost everything you see me post here was made/shot/created with a zero budget and a bit of resourcefulness.
Now imagine what I could shoot with an indie budget?
Directors/Producers: Let's make some something dark and weird and worthy of horror. (after the strike)
Lotta people talking shit about Twitter & how happy they’ll be if they get to leave if Elon takes over.
I’d be sad. I know I’m in the minority but Twitter has had a massive positive impact on both my personal life and my career. I don’t want to lose that.
October mask commissions are now open for custom one-of-a-kind masks. I've got FIVE commission slots left.
Each mask is $150 with free domestic USPS shipping.
DM me for more info.
3 years ago, my partner Soja and I shot concept footage for something I called HUSK, that featured custom masks I'd been making.
Fast forward to today, where HUSK is now called FAIRY DUST and on its journey towards becoming a feature film.
Will you join us on the journey?

My partner and I were in Detroit last week to see the Robolights installation at MoCAD. We wandered inside to see the other installations, saw this exhibition and said “nope fucking nope”, turned right around and walked out.
Someone write me a horror movie that has the dream logic of Lynch, the body horror of the Cronenbergs, the cult weirdness of Lovecraft, and the stylishness of Cosmatos.
THAT’s the movie I want to make.
It's Nov 1st which means 10 mask commission slots are open!
Want to dress up as a serial killer? Or your DnD character? Feeling a bit occultish? Need something original and unique for your wall? I got you covered!
Each mask is $175 and custom made to order.
DM me for info.
Mask commissions are closed until October 1st, but I have some other one of a kind items I'm selling.
Up first: "The Horned King", hand-painted resin skull with real deer horn tips. Comes with glass dome and stained wood base.
$250 (domestic shipping included)
Bought mask at a Halloween store, painted it (originally it was blank white), coated Sophie in charcoal makeup and vegetable oil, finished image off in Photoshop with additional textures.
