for anyone else that suffers from binges (uncontrollable and controllable) let me remind you;
THAT YOUR BLOAT WILL GO DOWN!!
you just have to be patient with your body as it knows best !!
even just 2 days of being back on track can make a world of difference
my chest wont stop hurting i am in so much pain i have only burnt a little over 600cal
my body is so weak and for no reason i am literally a healthy weight
―୨ 1. eating at least 3 servings of fruit/vegetables everyday
if i go without fruit or veg for a day i crave it so badly that i will only eat it the following day
i have also tricked myself into believing that the only sugars i need come from fruit
―୨ 3. drinking loads of water
everyday i drink at least 1.5L of water and will drink water during meal times
and right before i go to bed every night i drink around 250-500mL (0.25-0.5L) that way i flush out any water weight overnight too
―୨ 6. weighing myself every day
every morning at 6am i will weigh myself, despite what happened the day before
if i lost i feel motivated to continue, if i gain i am determined to have a better day
―୨ 7. intermittent fasting!!
i generally do 18:6 with 2 meals; lunch and dinner
i will eat these meals at 2pm and 7pm
this is especially important i have found when it comes to wl and decreasing bf%
―୨ 9. being patient after meals!
as much as i would love to eat until i am full i eat until i am content
after a meal, if i am still hungry i will set myself a 15 minute timer
after those 15 minutes if i am still hungry i will eat a serve of fruit
―୨ 4. rarely eating out
if i can help it i wont eat out with friends and family but if we are going out for lunch or dinner i will usually pack my own foods (unless there are salads or vegetarian options)
―୨ 8. serving sizes!
40g for cereals and snacks
35g for any meats / animal products (that aren't eggs)
for fruits and vegetables i consume as much as i would like but it tends to be around 75-100g per serve i have
―୨ 5. eating lactose free/mostly dairy free
i have a dairy intolerance so i find i can stick to this without family being suspicious
but not everything has a good dairy free alternative (such as cheese's and some yoghurts)
―୨ 13. mindset around cravings
whenever i crave something very specific, i always remind myself that i know what it tastes like and smells like and that by eating that particular food it would be a waste of calories when i could eating something far more filling
the only milk i use is unsweetened almond as it is dairy free and very low in calories
for yoghurts i usually buy oat yoghurt however it has been discontinued by the company i buy from so i now get high protein lactose free greek yoghurt
―୨ 10. protein!
i always aim to eat 1g of protein per kg of weight as a minimum every day
i get my protein from; eggs, lean meats, protein bars, protein yoghurts and fish
⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖ i would like to preface this thread by saying that these are habits that others around me have deemed overly healthy or obsessive
and that this thread is very chaotic and not in any specific order!
hehe what if i "recover" so my family gets off my back but in reality i am just eating 1400 and just going to the gym more often (lower bf% quicker)
good plan. am i right or am i right?? ^^
PRE METAB (GRAY) VS POST METAB (BLUE)
omg i feel like i am double the size of before 😵💫 have i gotten bigger i cant tell properly because of water retention and food weight
―୨ 12. working out
for exercise i do reformer pilates 2 days a week and floor pilates at home 4 days a week
on sundays i have an active rest day
every day, including sunday, i will complete 15-20 minutes of ab workouts
―୨ 11. setting yourself reminders
i have set reminders on my phone and watch that go off every 20 minutes that remind me to drink water and to walk around!
@hoonlvzs
not even close it is so stereotypical of the eds they potray on all the people and her magical realisation of getting better made me so angry becauae sure first step is deciding for change but then being magically happy that same day??? wtf
i feel so invalid somedays because of how fast my metabolism is (3400 maintenance)
like yes sure i can lose 1kg per week eating 1400 cals daily but i wish i could eat as little as others do yk :/
added my hw to my bio so that i dont feel so bad about my current weight
i am still down from what i used to be so i should still appreciate the progress i have made
1: Changing your mindset!
• My biggest issue was my relationship with food. I grew up in a "diet family" and was taught about "good" and "bad foods".
• As you can guess the foods I would binge on would be the "bad foods".
