RT @jimshapiro: PARENTS - Just a reminder: Most youth sports coaches are volunteers. They don’t get paid. They aren’t in it for themselves…

RT @CoachJonBeck: Biggest complaints I hear from coaches are: "We have no IQ" "We can't react" "We don't adapt" "We can't make decisions"…

@JoshuaOrtegon The soccer coach has tied his identity to the success of that team, is insecure, and is stealing childhoods by wanting 100% commitment from 10 and 11-year-olds. Red flag.

@bradpraisely @LouatTheState Haven’t heard complaints about magnets, where students may play sports at a school they don’t attend. That seems counterintuitive. All plans aren’t perfect, choices are good. Choosing a safer school with higher academic standards and good athletics should be applauded.

@LeeHogan2001 @bradpraisely @LouatTheState 👍 If they choose their school going into the 9th grade can they play sports at that school?

@DrCOACHStrong @LouatTheState And Gray wished him well when he left because he and his family made a choice that they thought was in his best interest. The point is, Charters provide a choice for kids. For adults to be upset about that makes no sense.
