There’s this weird pressure to be happy & positive 24/7 and it does people more harm than good. Emotions are supposed to be felt. They teach you things. It’s ok to be sad. Just don’t stay there. Feel what you need to feel, listen to what you are being taught & grow through it.

It’s ok to not be ready to speak yet. Don’t rush telling your story because you want to be a ‘speaker’. You’re allowed to heal first. You can often hear the pain when someone isn’t over a situation. Don’t force yourself to speak on it. Wait until you’re ready.
