@CDInewsletter Just today decided to move everything to Questrade. Have rationalized staying with TD far longer than I should have, but between referrals to start up with Questrade, their bonus offer, & now free trades, I couldn't justify staying at TD & paying $10 for trades, bad service, etc

@UmbrielCap @CDInewsletter Yes, though it's possible that more sales may occur. The poster might not know that these sales have been announced (which fits because he generally doesn't seem to understand what he's talking about) or the uncle may have been talking about future sales

@XuanPelofuego @foso_defensivo I'd start with that, but I can pretty confidently say you could look closer at it and be happy you did

@CDInewsletter @GaelanHanlon At lower retirement incomes it's more or less a wash, no big difference either way

@GaelanHanlon @CDInewsletter I think RRSP/TFSA should be maxed almost regardless, & too much in a RRSP/too high of retirement income is a much rarer problem, but funding more retirement income from taxable capital gains and less from RRSP or taxable dividends means more income/withdrawals before OAS clawback

@Rodbhar I wouldn't expect Secure to be very successful in such a scenario. Secure's decline would be slower than the production decline & with either capital returns or diversification the company could be a decent investment, but you're right that melting ice cube successes are rare

@Refinedman2 Waste peers trade at much lower than even 5% FCF yields, table below from @310Value is dated but if anything FCF yields have gone lower. I don't see 7% as too low. I had a rough estimate of fair value as ~$23, which would be 5%-5.6% FCF yield, which still strikes me as fair

@Rodbhar If the decline you are modelling is slow enough, it's a very smart management team that would have say $250 million of FCF each year to use to diversify/lessen those impacts.

@littleacorncap I looked up the symbol on here and noticed you were the only one. Small, illiquid, non-promotional, and Quebec all work against its popularity, but it’s an interesting company I’m surprised doesn’t get mentioned more
