I love owning stocks. I get giddy owing companies that work for me when I’m sick, when I’m tired, and when I just plain don’t feel like working. Owning assets provides freedom, and freedom is true wealth. Wealth isn't a number; it's the ability to do what you want when you want.

@bugaboo_90 @JestSayingg It depends on what type of investor you are. I mainly swing trade, aiming to be in stocks for 2-10 weeks (ideally). Sounds like you invest with a longer term mindset, which is great. I like the stock - like I said, if we have a 38 or 50% fib retracement, I'll be back in.

@danielxchock @BillAckman You mean a run up before earnings on March 20th? Could be. Estimates are comparatively low to the prior 4 quarters. They beat the last few times, but market had mostly negative reactions. Seems to be all about guidance.

Exited my $ABT Abbott Labs position with a 23% return, as it tagged and retreated at channel resistance. Swing trade completed.
How it's going ... $ABT Abbott Labs hugged support for a few weeks, and even dipped below, but it finally seems to be making a move, crossing the 50 & 200DMA today. Let's see if it closes above.

@338Canada Kind of reminds me of when Harris came in as the "anyone but Biden" candidate. She surpassed Trump in the polls & betting markets, but obviously it didn't stick. Is Carney getting the new shiny "anyone but Trudeau" bump?

My portfolio is green today bc I've loaded up on Consumer Staples $XLP, Healthcare $XLV & Real Estate $XLRE names. Still own lots in the other sectors, but I've trimmed tech to buy out of favour sectors. Now I'm trimming some of these to build dry gun powder to buy more tech.

@DvdndDiplomats Yep, bought it mid-January. Aiming to exit around $24.
So far so good on my $SOFI trade. It's now broken it's near-term high of $17.19 and moving towards my target around $24.50, not far from all time highs.

@mistressdivy Some insider sold in November after an earnings miss in October. Lots of support around $169 & I'm liking the bullish RSI divergence. I don't trade $TXRH, but it might be interesting if it hits 200DMA or drifts down to $169. 1.39% dividend isn't terrible.

Buying more Merck $MRK today as it bounces off support that goes back more than a decade. 3.26% dividend yield while a wait for this 245 billion dollar healthcare $XLV giant.
