I called it a "little" victory because that’s exactly what it is. However, this could lead to greater power for the UAP task force, IF they can convince the committee’s leadership that subpoenaed testimony would expose waste, fraud, or abuse by those operating in the shadows, so to speak. That aligns with the administration’s current narrative. If the task force focuses its early investigations on that angle, they could present it as a compelling case for expanding their subpoena powers. In Congress, political capital is always needed to push anything forward, especially when dealing with controversial topics like NHI/UAP, which tend to face resistance. I don't the motivation for Congress has ever been, or will ever be "the people deserve to know". It was always going to have to have a political upside. Based on the current Admin's battle against permanent government, I don't think the timing has ever been better.

@HuronNolan22067 @timburchett @jakebarber2025 I understand where you're coming from. I feel differently though and hopefully we get to learn more about it soon. I hope you're open to changing your mind if you see evidence that you may be wrong😊🛸

All great questions. I think anyone who claims to fully understand who or what NHI really are is, in effect, oversimplifying a far more complex reality. Personally, I suspect that when official disclosure finally comes, it will be used—at least in part—for political gain. Ideally, the benefit might be limited to the political capital of having been the ones to break the silence, rather than a nefarious agenda aimed at consolidating power. But given the nature of politics today, it’s almost inevitable that any administration would try to leverage even such a momentous event for personal advantage. That said, as you pointed out, any attempt at narrative control might eventually unravel. I don’t claim to know enough about NHI to say whether they’d even tolerate a significant deviation from the truth about their origins, purpose, or intentions—so any fabricated narrative might backfire. I agree with you that it'll work its way out. Meanwhile. I’m ready to unplug from the Matrix, so to speak, and finally learn the reality that’s been hidden from us for so damn long. I'm actually the smallest bit optimistic we may get it with the current administration. They seem to be, to use a poker term, a bit pot committed at this point on the topic.

I understand where you're coming from, but it seems highly implausible that the government would announce the existence of non-human intelligence unless it were actually real. Any such announcement would instantly trigger demands for independent verification, making it nearly impossible to sustain a fabricated narrative. In contrast to misrepresenting a policy or covering up a minor scandal, a false disclosure about aliens would be self-defeating—why risk exposing a lie that would unravel the moment concrete evidence was requested? Of course, I’m not claiming that the government would be completely transparent or immune from using any narrative for political advantage. However, when it comes to something as extraordinary as alien life, a public announcement would almost certainly be grounded in actual evidence. Otherwise, the moment someone asked for proof, the entire charade would collapse.

It seems you've convinced yourself of a very specific set of outcomes. I'm unsure what makes you believe that's exactly how things would play out; but sure, if it did we agree that would not be good. I think we're in such uncharted territory here nobody really has a valid guess how things would actually go down. None of us even truly understand the nature of what's going on with the Phenomenon, regardless of how many people have convinced themselves they have some full understanding here.

I'm genuinely trying to understand what you're saying here. So we agree religion influences and controls. Announcing the reality of NHI would then wipe away religion (agreeing somewhat so far) and help the government "gain the power to influence and control minds". That's where I disagree. I don't see how the government admitting that the government has been covering up NHI for decades gives than a great ability to control anything... That's why I don't believe when/if they disclose the phenomenon they would be lying about it. I don't believe they gain more power or influence, but instead less.

Why don't they just have Grusch tell them everything? Tim doesn't seem to know much, honestly. Sure, he saw the same video we all have now on the SIPRNET. He's a valuable asset to the topic, and I'm glad he interested in disclosure. But Grusch has the receipts; program names, locations, the people involved, etc. He's the one who should be briefing the Whitehouse. What am I missing?
