As you said “we have more data and info” and that means that decades of MVP races would have gone differently today and that in and of itself is the representation of goalposts moving once Jokic won his first MVP.

Also think his BPM specifically is flawed because the team refuses to sign a competent backup center for him and the teams built so specifically around him that it doesnt work when hes not out there.

Me personally Jokic didnt seem like the best defensive player in the nba by a wide margin last year, but your stat sure thinks so.
