Spot on! They hate culture
These people really need to stop calling themselves "culture warriors." Beyond their apathy toward the arts lies their complete refusal to engage with pop culture: They shit on Taylor Swift—one of the world's biggest pop stars—but have no Taylor Swift of their own. They shit on rap music—a globally popular art form that's been culturally dominant for 40 years. They shit on comic books—which have captured imaginations through lush illustrations and compelling stories for 100 years. They shit on videogames—which have evolved into brilliant vessels for art design, music, and storytelling. Then they wonder why people think they're boring and lame as fuck.
