It’s our final week for ‘The 3 little 🐷’. As part of our immersion stage for @Talk4Writing , the children showed great anticipation during stage 2 of @attentionautism and helped me ‘huff and puff’ just like the wolf. The bubbles were a big hit. @jane_ralphs @PieCorbett 🐷🐺

This weeks music was all about guitars. Looking at what materials they are made from & taking turns to play one. In our DSP the children got creative and designed their own with a variety of materials. They were challenged to thread elastic bands or pipe cleaners for the strings.

Continuing with our science topic- ‘materials’. The children in our DSP designed their own material collage in art. They chose different materials and stuck the correct symbol, stating what that material was made from. Great work 🚀 Rockets 🚀

Comets are enjoying their current @BCComputingHub unit. They had an amazing time creating their sunflower using all the skills they have learnt from the previous lessons. #teachcomputing #weareallstars

To help with attention, listening, concentration and fine motor skills. Pupils in our DSP and Galaxy class designed their own snakes by peeling stickers and were challenged to focus when using scissors to create a spiral 🐍. Well done Rockets and Galaxy. #ChineseNewYear2025 🧧

Wow! What a fantastic day we provided for pupils in our DSP and Galaxy room. The staff worked so hard to bring the vision of Chinese New Year to life. So many cross curricular activities, here’s just a few. Happy new year from us all 🐍 🧧

On Thursday , Star 3 & 4 classes visited Belgrave Library. We listened to stories from one of the staff , and even chose some of our own books to look at. Thank you again to all of our parent volunteers!

In Star 1 we have been looking at ‘The Sleepy Bumblebee’ story and had a go at brainstorming some ideas for our playful write. We used colourful semantics to support us with our ‘who’, ‘doing’, ‘what’ sentences. #piecorbett #talkforwriting
