@swayam0prakash @BAMResearch @FranEmmerling Thank you! This system is quite sensitive to time and pressure of grinding. By modulating these parameters, you may obtain one or the other compound. In-situ monitoring allowed us to rationalize the behaviour of the system, thus having a control on the outcome of the reaction!

@ZHAIWeiNUS @BAMResearch @FranEmmerling Yes, all these parameters may actually influence the extent of the reaction (and this is the case). And once you understand the way they influence it, you can modulate them in a controlled way to optimize your reaction. Thanks for asking :)

@Rachel_E_OBrien @BAMResearch @FranEmmerling Thanks for the question:) With in-situ monitoring we manage to observe the behaviour of the compounds while they are actually ground. This is possible thanks to the use of PMMA milling jars, which allow the X-ray/Raman radiation to detect what's occurring inside the jars.
