Year 7 and 8 pupils have been practicing their embroidery skills and learnt how to add chain stitches, French knots and seed stitch for their self-portraits. We might be a bit biased but we think they look pretty accurate!

Today was our Sports Day for Years 5-11 at John Charles Centre for Sport 🏆
It was a fantastic day with a positive atmosphere throughout and pupils cheering each other on through the track and field events.

Today we held our annual Dash event, which saw 6 races around the school building with the 4 Houses competing to win the coveted Dash trophy.🏆

We're having an amazing day celebrating the vast amount of cultures within our school community.
All pupils are involved with either running or visiting a stall and taking part in or watching dance and musical performance this afternoon.

CMCS was looking very lovely in the snow yesterday ❄️ As you can see from all the footprints, we were still working hard to look after our key worker children and support our families. We hope you are all keeping safe in this weather & enjoyed building a snowman! ☃️

Year 8 pupils are really enjoying our new Sustainable Eating club where they learn how to make healthy, sustainable meals on a budget. Last week they made winter vegetable soup and soda bread. On the menu this week was quorn penne arrabbiata. Yum!

Today was emotional as our class of 2024 pupils were stood down 👋

It was an emotional day with t-shirt signing & photographs being taken.
We will still see them in school for revision and exams, but wish them lots of luck and know how hard they've worked to get to where they are today.
