All of our teacher run after school clubs have no cost attached to them. After only 3 weeks our wonderful ‘Glee’ group have learnt 3 songs. All the actions are chosen by the children and their passion just shines through 🤩

P2 went back in time today and experienced a school day in 1923! They recited poetry, used chalk and slates to complete arithmetic and literacy and played traditional games. The teachers were very strict and used ‘the belt’ (strip of paper) to discipline ‘naughty’ children.

P6 took part in their annual Euro Quiz, up against 46 schools in West Lothian and 110 teams. We came in at an incredible 4th place and we’re so proud of our teams and the hard work they put in, well done to you all!

Today Primary 2 had an extra special teacher today for their RME lesson. H told us all about his religion and how him and his family celebrate Ramadan and Eid. We learned about fasting, doing charity work and preparing for the big Eid celebration. Happy Eid to all celebrating!

Group 1 & 2 had an absolute blast this morning at the Aqua Park! They bounced, slithered, crawled and swam around the course for hours! With the power of a wetsuit, the water felt as warm as a bathtub! 🛁 Miss Munro even gave it a go!

We hosted the West Lothian Primary gymnastics competition this afternoon and what an amazing afternoon is was. We won team silver in Level 1 and Level 2 and had individual gold, silver and bronze medals too. Just fantastic. Our pupils worked so hard preparing for this. Well done!

An amazing morning in the sunshine with our talented athletes at the WL Primary Track & Field Championships. An outstanding effort from all! The 2 relay teams made the final, 3 pupils in the 80m sprint finals and this was topped off with a bronze medal in the Shot Putt.🤩

We loved learning about the skill of clarifying with the other Deans cluster schools today. After the lesson we used instructions to draw a monkey and changed its expression by drawing our own mouth and eyebrow designs.
