Any recommendations for resources on improving at altium? I feel comfortable with the basics (creating components, traces, harnesses, ports, diff pairs, etc, setting up a PCB with layers, traces, vias, rooms, design rule check, etc) but would love to learn more and dive deeper

Still a lot of stuff I wanna add (RGB LEDs, robot arm and online game functionality, etc), but for offline games it seems to work great atm, so I've just been trying to clean it up and add any last minute functionality I can think of before moving on to that stuff

You can now play as white on either side of the board, so no need to rotate it, just swap pieces!!!

Also, a breakpoint was set during the video from when I was testing castling which is why the first castling attempt pauses for a moment before playing the move. Normally in no clock mode it waits 1s of making sure a piece is on it's potential final square before playing the move

Functionality to add: - 2dof gantry with electromagnet to move opponent's pieces for online play - gantry movement for both sides to stream live professional games (i.e Move pieces in real time to follow world chess championship) Other ideas welcome, so please comment below!!!

Successful chess night in the books! The board works great for full games in no clock/button mode as well as for engine analysis afterwards on

Capturing now works for no clock/button mode!!! Below is a (VERY badly played 😂) Scandinavian showing moving and taking pieces without having to hit a button for either side! Still need to get working for edge cases such as castling and en passant, but it's a great start!
