Hilda (H. D.) Doolittle was a major American poet, novelist & memoirist. She is strongly associated with both early 20th Century avant-garde & modernism.

We are deeply saddened to share the news that Stanley Moss, poet, longtime friend of the press & close friend of Carcanet's MD Michael Schmidt for decades, died on Friday 5th July in New City, N.Y., aged 99.
He will be greatly missed. RIP Stanley. 🖤
On 15 June 1996, twenty-five years ago, the IRA bombed Manchester, and the old Carcanet office was destroyed.
