Why not now? There is no timeline on healing or telling your story. And honestly, if my mom was still alive, I would have continued to hold the secret, to protect her. She loved him like her own child . I couldn’t break her heart with that . And you don’t have to understand.

After that message I can’t help but wonder how many “me” was there. Did it start with me? Did I make him comfortable enough to move through life like that? Did I normalize that behavior for him? How many “me” did I help traumatize by making him think that was ok? 🥺😭

I’m not sure what “the truth regarding her background and motivation means” I openly and transparently let it be known I had a troubled past . TROUBLED . TROUBLE . However that was when I was 18 . I am about to be 35 . But I assume my “troubled background” excuses his conduct

When making my statement I mentioned to police about my “troubled background” his response.. “if you were held at gunpoint selling a bag of weed, I’m going after the gun holder not the weed holder”

If he ever took you on a trip to another state, and did something illegal, that could be a FEDERAL crime.
With no statute of limitations.

I was with him. We were shopping for me. He tried on a belt in Macy’s, a fan came, asked for a picture, he forgot he had on the belt and we left out the store, next thing you know he’s going to jail
