My son, 27 at the time, was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer 10 years ago tonight. Inoperable and untreatable, his illness was intense and short. He died that March on hospice, the hospice where I was a nurse. His name was James, he was a funny + kind, a good man.
