It’s our 30th wedding anniversary today. I don't know what I've done to merit the love of such a good woman every day for 30 years but I am grateful and blessed.
When I hear someone criticize newbie traders on
#Fintwit
, I kinda lose all respect for them - like its an easy game, and they've learned everything already. I've been at it for 25+ years, and I learned something today!
One of my sons walks up to me this afternoon and says
"most of the people you see bitching on social media do it because they never played any competitive sports." I was focused on a trade, so I kind of brushed it off, and it just randomly hit me hours later; he was right
A few people who I respected in the past have turned into full on fear mongering psychopaths. I’m not taking this outbreak lightly or passively but do you think being irrationally fearful and emotional will help anyone including yourself???
Note: when I was working with my Mentor many years ago, he told me to not be in a rush to exit strong trends as the most considerable portion of the move often happens in the last 10% of the time.
Ok, guys, I'm off on vacation. It's been a pleasure interacting with you during the past 12 months. Let's make 2022 even better.
Best wishes for the holiday season!
Cheers
I’ve been following markets a Very long time and even I’m dizzy from all the limit up and limit downs. If anyone tells you this is normal volatility laugh and keep walking.
Every other day I discover was blocked by someone I have Never interacted with for simply stating my bullish stance on $TSLA. No wonder they got their asses handed to them thin skin. I will never block anyone for simply disagreeing with me because in trading you’re never 100%
Don’t blindly Chase
Don’t use tight Stops because of $ only without levels involved
Trust your Intuition
Don’t overthink
Don’t change your strategy mid trade
Believe in yourself
Know yourself and what timeframe fits your personality
Warning about a market fade, correction, or even a crash is ok but not when you keep saying the same thing for 10 straight years. It kinda loses its value, you know, at least try to be within a few months or so.
$TSLA - stop dunking on the shorts there's no point just be happy you weren't one of them. Just make sure you don't do that to yourself in the future in another name by being price blind but book smart. Conviction is one thing blind stubbornness another.
Waiting/Patience is only as hard as you make it stare at screens less and use alerts more - when they trigger, then take a look; otherwise, you end up forcing trades instead.
Too Many in a rush to get bullish IMO, what's wrong with
waiting for a Fat pitch on swing trades. Strong Upside Vol ⬆️ day is only 1 step. We want more rotational weekly or monthly proof. We are NOT in normal times. Put your FOMO hats away and take what the market gods give you,
I've never seen so many people seem so pleased the world is going thru a very significant health scare. You should really be able to hone in on who you should remain engaged with both on social media and elsewhere in the coming months as a result.

I disagree with the school of thought that says we need to try and catch exact tops or bottoms in fact it seems most get into more trouble doing exactly that.
I’ve been stubbornly bullish since April with moments of maybe we’ve gone to far mixed in along the way. The weight of evidence hasn’t changed enough to turn bearish since. Remember it’s not what you think will happen it’s what is happening that matters most.
I was planning on visiting my Father who lived through WW2 and the Great Depression at a young age and now I can’t. He’s 90 yrs old hopefully this shit ends soon.
If you missed it last night, make sure to check out the "Stocks into 2021" video with guest

that aired last night.
It is worth the hour it takes to watch the whole thing!
Watch here:
Ever since I went from being tolerant and blocking sparingly to immediately blocking rudeness or ignorance my experience here has improved exponentially.
We are in the most intensely Volatile period I've ever seen. I can only imagine the young traders who haven't seen some of the past Bear or Black Swan type moves being shocked by this. If you feel like a deer in headlights, just dont trade is the best course of action IMO.
Berkshire Hathaway a few minutes ago was advised by members of Charlie Munger’s family that he peacefully died this morning at a California hospital.
Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, wishes to say: “Berkshire Hathaway could not have been built to its present status
I'm pretty sure
@Twitter
is somehow throttling my follower count the last few months; it's been stuck at 96,350 area, which is hard to do even if you try. All I want is to get to that 100K mark to use a new Meme or Gif. 😂
