@515ideas @PhilMickelson Well since you brought it up. Tesla does get a ton of subsidies and is also the benefactor of government contracts to the tune of $41.9mil since 2008 and even more in subsidies (2.8bil). All to build rockets and cars and “eventually” solar panels.

@orangurple @PhilMickelson In this example that also applies to Tesla who gets millions in government contracts and subsidies to do what? Build a rocket to go to mars? Create robot trucks for police to drive around in small towns? Because that really has a positive impact to the common person.

@JeffBoger If the average person had access to the tax loopholes that corporate billionaires had they could avoid paying taxes too. I have this LLC that “lost” $40k this year. And this one that “lost” $70k. So that offsets my income tax for my job that pays me $130k a year before taxes.
