I had a kid at the ABA clinic I used to work at, scream every time they made her wash her hands because she didn’t like the smell of the soap. and also cry every time a toy was taken away from her to teach “manding.” This is so wrong! This is just one reason I quit.

Therapy is one thing for trans youth, but gender affirmation surgery and puberty blockers for minors is a whole other ballgame and is just plain abuse to children who either haven't reached puberty or are still developing or are too young to understand the whole trans thing.

I was told it was because they needed to help her with sensory issues. No you’re just making them worse dummies! I was told this how the company works. Sensory overload helps them get used to sensory problems and eventually they go away. WTF?!🤬

Therapy has always helped me, thank you very much! Then again I went through a lot of rough shite as a kid and therapy has been there when no one else would listen to me. I truly believe in it. Mental health therapy not conversion or behavioral therapy.
