The tower failed to provide heading/location info of the plane they were asking about.

@Mark_McEathron @PatriotVerity That's what I've been thinking about. In many of the videos you can see another aircraft to the right. So while they received a short notice call asking if they saw the aircraft, they might have noticed the other aircraft and not the one coming from above.
