"The response to persecution is part of ministry too... Advocacy becomes a form of stewardship—protecting what God is growing... Don’t separate evangelism from pursuing justice and religious freedom." Important piece by Wissam al-Saliby (@21Wilberforce). https://t.co/9t0AwJM7f2

We pray for their freedom today! And we pray for peace, safety, & hope to spread throughout the country. We pray too that religious freedom, and other fundamental rights, would be protected. And we pray against the violence and harm caused by armed groups & gangs. In Jesus' name

As @CSWadvocacy notes, "All eight individuals had settled in Guaviare after being displaced from Arauca Department due to violence.... including the closure of churches and the targeting of Protestant pastors by illegal armed and criminal groups over the past decade."
