I voted yesterday in our 🇨🇦 federal election. A teenage girl sat next to me to register to vote & I smiled at her, knowing that my PA daughter would also be voting. I cried all the way home thinking of another milestone in her life I was missing. April 25th is PA awareness day.

March 2018, during spring break, my then 12 yr old daughter & I went for a hike collecting quartz stones, which she loved. When we got home, she drew me a 🦋 on our patio, which I love. Little did we know, that would be the last time we would spend together because of #PA .

In March 2018, during spring break, when my daughter was twelve years old, she was supposed to spend one week with her father, but that one week lasted seven years. She is now ninteen years old. She has been coerced, manipulated & controlled to hate me. PA is child abuse & DA.

This is why I won't stop speaking out about Alienation in families. It's time EVERYONE started talking about it.
The Hidden Grief of Alienation Disenfranchised grief refers to any grief that goes unacknowledged or unvalidated by social norms. For alienated children and targeted parents, this grief is often minimised, dismissed, or misunderstood, making it even harder to process.

When my ex-husband took my 12 yr old daughter, they moved into the basement at his sister's house. I didn't know where they were for years. His sister has no family of her own, no kids, and she got to be mom of my daughter while I was trying not to hurt myself because of my grief

A memorial should be made for all of the mothers , fathers, and children who have fallen victim to suicide because of parental alienation. 🥀🕯💔🙏

Parental Alienation is so cruel. I suffer from anxiety and ptsd because of it. The feeling of intense loss never goes away, and I'm sure my daughter feels the same way. We were both betrayed by the one who was supposed to protect us and by a system that was to protect families.

It's my daughter's birthday today. She is now 19 yrs old. She was taken by her father when she was 12 yrs old and I haven't been able to celebrate her birthdays with her since. PA has lifelong consequences; it's child abuse & domestic abuse. 🙏 💝🎂

In the 15 years I have done this work allegations/ & removal from school ALWAYS hides abuse - there is a reason we don't take what children say at face value - because kids who reject a parent are usually being abused by a controlling parent. The FJC have got it very very wrong

When I met up with my PA 18 yr old daughter a few months ago, she said to me, " Family is everything." When I asked her if she would come over to my new place for a visit, she said " Yes". But, once again, she is MIA. She's torn, & PA has destroyed who she really is. PA is abuse.

Everywhere I go, I look for my daughter. I told her where I work and texted her the hours I'm there, hoping and praying she would pop by to say hello. She's 18 now and an adult, everyone tells me, so does that mean I have to let her go? I can't. 😓

I'm Numb right now, folks. I had so much hope being in contact with my 18 yr old again, after six years of no contact, but she's MIA once again. She looked so depressed the last time I saw her and stopped responding to my messages. #PA damage is done. 😓

I've been quiet lately because I'm going through a lot. But please know I'm still here, supporting all PA parents, and I will always fight for our lost children and continue to spread awareness that parental alienation is child abuse!!! Love you all!!! 🫶🙏

My PA daughter is 18 yrs old, and everyone tells me that she's an adult now and I need to move on with my life. But how can I? From what I've observed in the very short times I've spent with her, she isn't progressing in her life in any way like she should at her age. 😓🙏

I will always protect my PA daughter at all costs. She is a victim, and I will never make her feel responsible for the position she was put in. Parental alienation should be considered a domestic crime against children.
