My personal global recommendation for pediatric cardiac care: regionalize, regionalize, regionalize and aim for larger volume. Higher volume leads to better outcomes and makes integration w/ other services and follow up easier. Please, think about what’s best for the #CHD child

This evening Children Heartlink International Policy Advocacy Advisory Board met virtually in our first meeting of the year. We discussed on various issues and challenges in our advocacy program in particular the current issues in fundings. We need to adapt to build awareness through partnerships, support research and publications and develop national strategies, guidelines and best practices to meet the unmet needs of the communities. We need to explore new ideas and creative innovations to make a difference in congenital heart disease.
