@DesmondShum Was on that Reagan trip and stayed there. It was 1984. Then went there, rarely, when living in Beijing over next few years. Despite its efforts at glitz, it never attracted as many as say, Jianguo or other hotels of its Westernized ilk.

Should be a gathering of top Democratic leaders — ASAP, tomorrow— to persuade Biden he should step aside and not run. Lots, lots, of younger Dems available. Let the convention choose someone else.
