We're very, very excited to work alongside Ghost to evolve and proselytize ActivityPub as a great tool for authors to stay connected with their audience without tethering themselves to Yet Another Algorithm or Yet Another Walled Garden:.
Today we're excited to share that Ghost is going to federate over ActivityPub and become part of the largest open publishing network in the world π. We hope you'll join us! π.

As of an hour or two ago, I've moved entirely off of Google Analytics in favor of a lighter-weight, more privacy-minded solution in @usefathom. It feels. good.

Tens of thousands of developers love @cassidoo's newsletters. We dug into how she's grown and evolved her newsletter over the past five years (with Buttondown every step of the way!).

We try really, really hard to walk the walk when it comes to accessibility. If you find an a11y concern (poorly labeled button, div-that-shouldn't-be-a-div), email justin@buttondown.email β I will straight up drop what I'm doing to fix it.

@pascallaliberte @buttondown is just a <form> element. So you can style it any way you want. I'm using that on my website in the footer of each page.

Buttondown is now donating monthly to support @storybookjs. (I can't believe it took me this long to start using it; it has _dramatically_ improved my velocity on front-end engineering.).

It's time to bump up our OSS sponsorships a bit, and @AdamChainz was an easy choice. Adam's contributions to Django are prolific, but two packages of his in particular that we couldn't live without: . - `time-machine` (a fast, pytest-friendly way to mock time).- `django-perf-rec`.

Satisfying a long-held source of anxiety: you can now let an author know that you're not unsubscribing, you're just moving to your RSS reader of choice. (I'm a big @feedbin fan myself.)
