I gotta remind myself that a lot of nba fans aren't actually basketball fans. They don't gaf about the sport just the narratives and the story. Theyll argue for hours about arbitrary rankings cuz their favorite player too low but won't actually watch games to enjoy the sport.
I just don’t get how this dude getting a 25 year old Luka isn’t a stain on the legacy . Kobe having Shaq and Pau = stain Steph having KD = stain Mj having Scottie = stain Kyrie, Wade, love, bosh, AD, Luka = just enough help lol

@ARFARFGRRR @HeavonHoops But its connected to me. Pascal is a better shot creator so he differs to him. Its still an issue he needs to fix of course but I think it plays a major role in the haliburton we have rn.

@ARFARFGRRR @HeavonHoops Hali definitely has aggression issues. But a lot of that IS because he's not a great shot creator. He doesn't want to force things. But the development plan for his shot creation is so simple to me its legit the only hole in his game offensively. I have all the faith in him.

@ARFARFGRRR @HeavonHoops You dont think adapting to an all star player taking up a lot of shots when you didn't have anyone close to him beforehand wouldn't affect halis playstyle?

@ARFARFGRRR @HeavonHoops Nov 2023 was a little over a year ago not an eternity. He was getting all the defensive attention back then too it just didn't matter. He was already an all star not a nobody. The injuries and Pascal stopped a lot of his progression and yes absolutely the fact he hasn't improved

@HeavonHoops @ARFARFGRRR Hali has shown what a top 10 version looks like. Nothing about nov 2023 looked fake to me he just didnt have the confidence after the injury to get back to it. He was forcing it in the beginning of the szn but has settled for now. He needs a full off-season to get back to that

@ARFARFGRRR @HeavonHoops Im not saying he a top tier player He a genius on the court and an elite passer. I want him to improve his creation too but i think he can do it. I have more confidence in him bulking up and becoming tighter with his handle than I do cade or Brunson seeing the game the way he do

@HeavonHoops @ARFARFGRRR I dont agree. They're far better scorers which means they get better looks. If you want to say overall playmaking sure. But what hali accomplishes with little scoring gravity, little usage, and turnovers not even close to those guys easily puts him top tier in passing.

@the2kmessiah I dont disagree with the agenda part they deadass think he's terrible. But haliburton can only get so much credit for righting a ship he knocked off course to begin with. Hes still been worse than last year even if not by that much. We need improvements from him.

@ARFARFGRRR Not even close to nuts. Top 5 in apg while 74th in turnovers. He doesn't have great scoring gravity to get assists off of. By far lowest usage in the top 10 in apg. Hes doing more on way less than most of these guys while not turning the ball over.
