@gatamunekita Awww! I think shadow needs an empathetic father figure. After losing his sister, no one ever comforted him and he was never taught to regulate his emotions or practice self care like relaxing or comforting himself. I think it would do him good to find someone sympathetic.

@ihearttimebomb There's just a tenderness in his eyes whenever he sees Jinx in or anyone he loves in pain, There's sympathy and a look of genuine sorrow. He chose to leave the safety of the alternate time-line because he knew his world needed his help. Risking it all to do the right thing.

(Side note) I fully believe shadow expected to die when the cannon exploded. I recon he was ready to go, just wanting to join his sister Maria, but unfortunately his peace wouldn't come. His body is too strong. But now what? He has nothing to fight. No one to protect...

Then finally, acceptance... in the future movies, we may see shadow calm down a lot and begin to start feeling from the pain of losing Maria.

Next is bargaining. Making compromises and deals in hopes of pleasing a higher power in return for peace. Then depression. Shadow won't know what do do with himself. I fully believe he was ready to die by the end of the film, he's got no one, he's completely alone.
