@StopFundingHate @trivago Trivago are awful. Made the mistake of using them once for my b&b business. Scam artists. No business generated but they tried to lock me into contract, aggressively threatening legal action if I quit. I would've recommended hotels avoid them entirely anyway. This clinches it.

@LiveableLeith I eagerly await to see how they intend to bring all accomodation providers into the net and then provide a mechanism for everyone to easily charge the tax at no extra cost to the provider. For example, if I have to take tourist tax payments by card I'll pay 2.5% of it.

@BrentToderian It makes me happy to know that the country I'm leaving the UK for next year takes this attitude towards bellends like Musk. I wouldn't be surprised if the UK gov proposed to subsidise Musk.

@adamtranter Most of them are just painted murder-strips. It's all about a city lying about their N miles of cycling infrastructure when, in reality, 90% of it is pointless at best and dangerous at worst, like these 'lanes' that just end, almost always to give priority to drivers.

@Chris_Boardman Please show Edinburgh, a city small enough to become an active travel nirvana almost overnight, how it's done. We have precious little AT infrastructure and most of what we have is rubbish. Meanwhile car travel is prioritised and the city is horrible to get around on foot/bike.

@100glitterstars Best PM in years is a very, very low bar to reach. At this point I'd be happy with an adequate but principled PM, which he isn't.

@SurreyRS I don't understand why this vehicle can be seized but when police catch drivers using a phone, speeding and having illegally tinted windows they just get reported and continue to drive until, and probably after, their court date, probably being the more dangerous of the two. 🙄
