Technically we got a back up big with Marvin Bagley, not a great one I know. But if Jaren, Edey, or BC aren’t playing at the 5 - something has gone terribly wrong. A backup PG would’ve been nice for sure, I’ve been pushing the Collin Sexton narrative for a while, but it clearly wasn’t a priority for the FO. In the playoffs Ja, Desmond, and Luke will be your PG’s anyway so I can see why they didn’t pursue it.

Exactly. We bet on ourselves, didn’t overpay for someone, or send out a young talent for a rental. I’m good with that. Sucks we had to pay to get rid of Marcus and didn’t get much in return. However, we are just getting healthy and Ja-Des-GG-Jaren have never been on the court together. We might have something special there.
