@UPStartuppolicy, GoUP signs MoU with @bsisbharat making BSIS 1st Official Partner of Govt of UP as Industry Association BSIS and Govt of UP will jointly write the startup policies, programs and benefits for the startup ecosystem of Uttar Pradesh on perpetual basis. BSIS will also, be the holistic partner of Govt of UP for all startup related activities in the State.

In 2023, the startup world became truly global when our Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi introduced @Startup20org under @g20org. I am honored to have served as the Founding Co-Chair, Alliance Task Force, Startup20, G20 and continued contributing under the Brazilian Presidency as Member, Regulations Task Force and Investment Task Force Startup20, G20 and now with G20 under South African Presidency look ahead to continue contributing to Startup20. Today marks another historic milestone in the global startup ecosystem with the launch of the @bricscouncil_in Startup Forum, uniting all BRICS nations for collaboration and knowledge sharing to advance the global startup ecosystem. I am humbled to be a part of it too. Some of the so called and self appointed rating agencies only count the number of investments done by an #investor but fail to take in count the number of #StartupSuccess #exits, which is the actual marker of success of any startup #investment. If the investors won't get exits (returns) from their investments in startups where will they fund in future. This also, kills the confidence of future investors if a startup is not giving timely exits to its existing investor. #TopInvestor should be taken in count both A) No. of startups invested in a year, and B) No. of successful exits given to their investors in a year #funding #Bharat

Uttar Pradesh's 1st Startup Founders' Roundtable was organized by StartinUP in collaboration with BSIS on 16-Dec-24 at Tilak Hall, Vidhan Parishad, Lucknow. The Roundtable was convened under the Chairmanship of Chief Guest Honb'le Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister Electronics & IT, GoUP, also present were Guest of Honor Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS (R), Chief Advisor CM UP, Guest of Honor Shri Vinayak Nath, National President @bsisbharat and Co-Chair, @Startup20org G20, Prof. KV Rao, Economic Advisor, CM UP, Shri GN Singh, Advisor CM UP, Shri Ravi Ranjan, IAS, MD UPLC, Shm. Neha Jain, IAS, MD UPDESCO, Shri Shammi Khanna, Patron BSIS, Dr. Deep Goel, Chair, Health and Healthcare Council, BSIS and StartinUP Supported startups from across UP. @UPGovt has announced Startup Policy 2025 will be developed in collaboration with BSIS. Also, Govt of UP, StartinUP and BSIS will jointly develop a world-class startup ecosystem program within 10 days and it will be implemented at international level.
