@brucep13 This is great to hear for long haulers but what I don’t understand is why is the fibrin (sludge) in n the blood (leftover from infection ) not addressed?! It’s there!!! Causing continuous issues an NO full recovery. Why is this being ignored?!

@brucep13 @SalvMattera Thanks @brucep13. If so, is an unwanted inflammation of blood vessels or other tissues one of the causes of Long Covid and/or other cardiovascular complications?

@sri_srikrishna @SalvMattera Most importantly it reprograms monocytes/macrophages away from a pro-inflammatory phenotype and prevents immune cell binding to inflamed blood vessels. #LongCovid

@SalvMattera It is an immune modulator NOT an antiretroviral. I explain the mechanism of targeting chronic inflammation of which there is plenty in the literature

How 'inflammaging' is the new tool to end cancer. Monocytes/macrophages and the cytokines they produce are involved even in cancer. They must be “modulated”. #long Covid #PASC

It is a potent immune modulator not an anti-retroviral or anti-viral. It is being used in cancer and Alzheimer’s for its effects on the tumor microenvironment and on microglia respectively

@MannyOnBass @Marc_Veld @sun_in_winter12 @brucep13 No “objectively qualified” virologist or immunologist would suggest antiretrovirals can cure symptoms caused by a coronavirus that are persisting *after the virus is cleared*

We found the same pathogenesis in COVID negative vaccinated patients with LC symptoms-no replicating virus necessary

@brucep13 I love your work Dr. Patterson, but surely 15 days of a fairly mediocre antiviral not working isn't sufficient to confirm anything?

Failure of Paxlovid in LC confirms our initial publication 3 years ago that persistence is NOT replication competence! #long COVID #PASC

We sequenced the entire SARS-CoV-2 genome in sorted S1positive monocytes and only found fragments. Awaiting tissue biopsies to do the same. #incelldx

We published this in long COVID 3 years ago! We discovered persistance of S1 and RNA. Persistance does not have to mean replication competence.

@Lymenews @brucep13 I don't understand how Dr. Patterson remains committed to non-persisting pathogens with mounting evidence to the contrary. You just posted this from your own publication.

@dialucrii31 @brucep13 @loscharlos How do you know this? More with mold, parasites, heavy metals and latent viral reactivations, than there is with Lyme? Are you a Lyme literate doctor? Funny my FM doctor who IS, told me his Lyme cases are up 4 fold over what there was 5 years ago.

We don’t as I just described for chronic Lyme. We also know what pure long CoVID is not exacerbations of Lyme or ME-CFS.

@brucep13 If you know that we all have different conditions, why do you prescribe the same drugs and treatment regime to almost all of your patients? I'd say that's a disservice to patients, if you know fine well they need individualised diagnostics and treatments! You're not curing LC.
