Scandinavian wealth fund has apparently just bought in excess of 5000 #bitcoin. Been on a buying spree late last week and over weekend with target sub 59k. Finished this am. Apparently obtained target. Well placed source in actuarial consulting world. .

HMRC (UK Tax.Authority) lawyers issue internal advice that if El Salvador passes bill implementing bitcoin as legal tender, HMRC would likely lose any TaxCourt attempt to impose CGT on bitcoin profits because of sovereign currency exemption. This has G7 & G22 implications.

I now have confirmation that eight (yes eight) mega institutions are momentum buying bitcoin from this point on. Starting about now in Europe. Schema is to order e.g. 1000 coins to be traded in 6 hours from the desk whenever the green line is 2000+. Reviewed every 6 hours.

Sorry I have a been bit quiet. I leave the UK next Monday for Poland border with Ukraine with three trucks full of targeted appropriate high quality aid for Ukrainian refugees to be distributed by Baptist church there. I will have a Ukrainian speaker as one of the drivers.

There at least one Asian country watching El Salvador very closely and actively debating following suit, even having meetings this weekend. I am only aware of one for sure, but that is one of three where I have resonable contacts.

Just seen highlighted page from a transcript of a very recent mega pension board discussion in USA mid West discussing how they had to get #btc into their alternative investments portfolio before the end of Q3 to avoid being beaten by other funds. Aka FOM0.

Good morning from UK! People are saying none of the Technical Analysis models give them bullish signals. I beg to differ. 1. My full node is nearly at 50 percent synchronisation (bought last week).2. My wife hasn't noticed it so has not complained.3. On my charts we see 35750.

Just helped / navigated for a non UK friend to acquire 68.23 coins, no KYC, no AML, using twitter contacts and P2P approaches. All perfectly legal and his funds are impeccably sourced and provenanced. 91 txs, all today UK time, one failed and he lost 0.1 #btc deposit.

Now I may not have the exact number right but this illustrates the thinking of key decision makers. It means Whale sales at 50k are neither bearish nor bullish but are to be expected - at the big round price numbers and at 25% or 30% or 35%. above the large Whale purchases.

@TimTill5 @BTC_Archive If I buy the future or the physical there is pressure on the price upwards. The future is still a long position and equals one bitcoin exposure. Someone has to sell to fulfil either order. If they won't at this price, price will rise. Futures is merely a deferral of gratification.

In case you guys & gals Just in case guys are feeling sore, I might have had all my longs closed out on IG overnight in which case I lose my 5 BTC exposure and am £54k down on IG, which I will have to fund by selling 2 BTC, which reduces my exposure from 55 to 48 BTC.

I have been rather busy on work in past 48 hours. I regard it as remarkable that bitcoin price action has been so strong in the event of full scale war in Europe. It is possibly the strongest bull signal ever.

I have no reassuring commentary on this price action. I admit freely I did not expect it & my modelling is still showing floors at just above 60 and at 58.5. So if you are brave and can borrow or gear or are long fiat, there is a clear opportunity to obtain discounted #bitcoin.
