Plus if you get a no, you can always move on to the next one. You might want to ask your counterparts in aviation and rail what it’s like to be federally regulated before jumping in

If you want other everyday white ladies with polisci degrees to engage, I’d suggest renaming the “memos” as white or green or discussion papers or anything that acknowledges they’re a starting point rather than an endgame
