NYC Local Law 97 may be the most self-defeating law in history. A direct tax on density & pedestrian oriented living. It makes cost of living in NYC more expensive AND will lead to more GHG emissions overall.

@Salamanca4TheBX LL97 drives up cost of living in the most carbon efficient city in North America, which incentives people to move or remain in places that are less dense, more car dependent and otherwise less efficient. So NYC gets higher costs AND more climate change. WAKE UP
