Kids deserve their dads. There is nothing healthy or noble about ripping that away from kids in pursuit of selfish desires. Those lauding men who do that as brave are deeply misguided - and probably grew up with their own dad in the picture.

Since age 15 I have never been without at least one job. I’m proud of my career and love what I do - I’ve worked hard to get here. Yet the most important titles I hold are mom and wife. The most important work I will ever do is in my home. Homemaker is not an insult.

@wanyeburkett Added benefit that it teaches kids how to interact with others and navigate situations like the checkout line. My toddlers know to greet and thank the cashier and keep hands to themselves. And they’re probably more pleasant and have better social graces than these grumps.
