You really have to actively schedule things to do & look forward to outside of work even if it feels like you’ll be more tired. Country weekend, gym, sports, a party, whatever. It takes so much effort but it’s worth it to give yourself that balance and variety.
I feel like my life is slipping away. A lot of it is spent waiting until the end of the week, Waiting until payday, waiting until another rotation. And I fear one day I’ll wake up and 10 years have gone by and I didn’t enjoy it.
