Mulder and Scully finally sneak into one of the deep top secret government tunnels and it's just a million nerds with slide rules down there doing payroll
the more i think about this the more its actually kind of cool. i didnt expect there to actually be literal mole people employed as underground scribes running our government from behind the scenes. this would definitely not have been my first guess
